Year 5 had an incredible visit from a 'real' Viking called Erik Erikssen.  The children were fascinated by a range of artefacts sch as Viking jewellry, tools and animal skins.  They also had the opportunity to hold swords, shields and try on a variety of chainmail and helmets from the period.  The children learnt all abut Viking laws and democracy and ended the day by creating ferocious war chants.  Overall, the children had an amazing day and are excited to learn all about the Vikings!
