Year 2 had fascinating trips to Singers Hill Synagogue in Birmingham where the children enjoyed a guided tour and were shown significant symbols of the Jewish faith which they had learnt about. They were able to try on a prayer shawl and Kippah (a male Jewish headdress) and were blown away when they were then allowed to see an impressive Torah scroll.
