We hope you enjoy the maths games on this page.  By practising your skills, you will be able to improve your maths.  If you find a problem, or a link won't work, please tell Miss Merrell or Mrs Shaw so that they can put it right for everyone else!

 

          Numbers in digits and words         

Can you label the numbers with the correct words on Two Digit Number Labelling at

Remember that, when you are deciding whether to use the < or > signs, the corocdile is greedy and always eats the largest number.

Remember the rhyme ...

0, 2, 4, 6 and 8, even numbers they are great!

1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, odd numbers are better all the time!

       Rounding to the Nearest 10     

Remember the rule ....

If the number ends in a 1, 2, 3, or 4, you round down to the previous tens number.

If the number ends in a 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9, you round up to the next tens number.

 It is really important that you know your number bonds to 10, 20 and 100.  They will help you work out the answer to lots of sums and so much more!  You can help yourself to learn them by practising here.
